This review is from: Vanilla Nut Pumpkin Pie Coffee, Ground, 1 Lb (Misc.) My husband loves pumpkin spice coffee, but unfortunately it is not available year round in our grocery stores. When I looked on Amazon, I discovered this. I was a little concerned about the "vanilla nut" part, because it's not a flavor he usually likes. However, this was excellent! For those looking for vanilla, this probably won't cut it, but pumpkin spice fans should enjoy it. The price is very reasonable, especially if you don't have to pay shipping. Highly recommended! This is a really nice coffee to have around during the holidays. It has a festive taste, although I agree with other reviewers the pumpkin does not have a strong presence, if any at all. But it does taste spicy and I have enjoyed it every time I make it. It is especially good paired with homemade cookies and cakes as well as breakfast baked goods, such as coffee cakes. I particularly didn't like the bitter aftertaste that I couldn't adjust out of it. No matter how I brewed it or what I put in it, that bite didn't go away. It fills the room with a mixed blend of fragrances of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.It's ingredients are all organic and a wonderful combination. It doesn't smell as wonderful in the bag as it does when heated. This is a savory way to start the day. Not just great for the holidays, but especially nice anytime during the cold weather. A really excellent well balenced holiday blend. As expected, I do not taste pumpkin, but I taste the nutmeg, cinamon and hint of cloves that make a great pumpkin pie. The coffee is a medium dark roast (not Starbucks dark) that is a great match to the spices. The pumpkin does not overpower the coffee, it compliments it. That said, coffee is a personal thing. The reviewer who rated this 1 star rates K-cup instant coffee and tea 5 stars....I can't drink that awful stuff. I agree with the majority here. Really exceptional! It's perfect with milk/creamer and sugar isn't necessary. My roommate, who has a sensitive stomach, is even able to drink this because it's "low acid" which was a nice surprise. I'll definitely continue to purchase throughout the year and not just the fall season.
